I havent done it many times so i probbaly wouldnt explain it very well. 2019 Mac Pro with its 28 CPU cores wins easily, showing just how excellent a machine it is when its CPU cores are utilized (not all that often). Enfuse is an open-source command line utility that can accomplish focus stacking, although it more typically is used for exposure fusing.

Soooooooooo, I was wondering if anybody knew if there was a way to do focus stacking on Mac OS X, any free software that I don't know about? Or even better, does anybody know how to do it in photoshop (I have CS3)?ĭont know about any software for the Mac, but it can be done manually in CS3 using the healing brush tool. Windows has CombineZM, which is free focus stacking software, but the two solutions I found out there for the Mac are not free, and I don't wanna pay for software that I won't use that often yet.
